Upgrade your small 5×24 or 6×30 finderscope with this Explore Scientific 8×50 finder! You will get a bit more magnification, but more importantly, images will be brighter due to the larger optics, and brighter images mean you will see more through this finder than through a smaller one. This difference is critical for objects that are right on the edge of seeing when viewed through your current finder…it can make the difference between finding that elusive galaxy or not. The Explore 8 x 50 finder has a magnification of 8X and a 50mm objective. The barrel is white with black trim. This straight-through finder comes with a bracket, as shown in the photograph. Alignment of the finder within the rings is achieved by turning the knurled knobs to gently push the barrel in the direction you desire. The dovetail shoe on the bottom of the bracket fits into most adapters for this purpose, or you can purchase one and change that out on your scope as well.
