The 4 mm Orion LHD 80-Degree Lanthanum Ultra-Wide Eyepiece features a tapered 1.25″ barrel. The tapered barrel helps the eyepiece stay put in focusers and diagonals if a setscrew happens to become slightly loose during use. The 1.25″ eyepiece barrel is threaded for use with compatible 1.25″ Orion eyepiece filters.
