The SolarQuest mount has a weight capacity of 11-pounds but weighs only 8.9-pounds.

Power your SolarQuest mount with 8 AA batteries (not supplied) or by 12V DC with the included adapter plate.

The dovetail is a V-style.

This mount has a built-in GPS system and uses Helio-Find technology for auto locating of the Sun. It uses a built-in 8-way joy stick for centering the Sun.

The DC servo motors slew at 16x and 1200x. 

There is a 3/8-inch thread mounting hole for your solar filter equipped camera.

Never aim a lens toward the Sun without an already affixed solar filter.

The tripod has adjustable aluminum legs, a tripod extension, and an accessory tray.
